Hi everyone! It's crazy that 2021 has already come and gone. Although there were some tough times that we had to get through this year, I am grateful for all this nonprofit was able to do and for all the friends we have made.
We took this year to really get in the groove of delivering on a consistent schedule. I want to thank all of the volunteers and friends at the Yolo Food Bank for being there to support our initiative. This nonprofit would not have been possible if it weren't for all of you.
What is truly incredible is that so far, we have been able to deliver over 1700 boxes of food to members of the West Sacramento community. That is over 25,000 pounds of food! When I sit here and think of a time when this nonprofit was only a vision, I become overwhelmed with joy and appreciation to see how far we have come.
I am feeling very optimistic about 2022. This is my graduation year, so I am determined to make this nonprofit the best it has ever been and touch as many lives as possible during my last few months in Sacramento. The people that I see every week make everything that I do with this nonprofit worthwhile; I am very grateful for every one of you.
Please look out for new delivery dates that will be posted on this website as well as the calendars that are attached to the food delivery boxes. If you have any questions about this nonprofit, please don't hesitate to reach out through this website or by phone; if you reach out by phone, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. I am always here to answer any inquires.
Make sure to stay optimistic during these uncertain times. Cheers to 2022!
